DTI Online Registration for Business Name

DTI logoDTI online registration is already available and will not be a hassle anymore unlike the previous decades that we always think where or how to register our business. How to register online in DTI for business name?

The Department of Trade and Industry have launched a website for online registration for your business, the BNRS (Business Name Registration System) which can be accessible at this URL: http://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph that provides many online services for budding entrepreneurs or to those who already have a business.

One of the most important, I think is it’s search engine facility because it will be easier for the applicant to register his or her business name.

Unlike if you will just depend on processing it manually, or going to an agency to ask some official to do the job, it will cause much delay. Thinking of a unique business name will then be easier because you can always inquire the websites’ search engine if the name is already available.

You can also apply your business name online, renew a business identity, updates of business information, cancellation of business or request a certification.

      I think there is a problem on DTI website today. Try another day and check their website again to register.

  6. what if i have a partner in the business? Should i register thru DTI or SEC? dalawa lang naman kami sa partnership so i guess wala namang prob if i register the name thru DTI, right?

  7. I think the website has bugs still. Drop downs are always not available. Hope they can fix this soon.

  17. meron na po ako existing spareparts business at itoy naka registro na sa inyong tangapan. gusto ko lang po sanang maglagay ng karagdagan pagkakakitaan tulad ng industrial gas (acetylene, oxygen, medical, etc….). ano po ba ang dapat kong gawin? kailangan ko bang iapply ng panibagong business name or kung pwedeng na rin iincorporate yun karagdagan paninda sa kasalukuyan business?

    gusto ko lang po magdagdag ng comment… i think mas mahirap mag regiter online… sana puede na po ung manual process .pano naman po ung mga small business lang ung hindi marunong mag computer. mas mahirap pa po yon unlike kung dun ka talaga pupunta sa dti mas ok sa akin yon .madami na pong nagrereklamo na mahirap ..salamat po…sana mapansin po itong comment ko…

    naka pag online register na ako ung problem po submit rejected po. may trn po is 2820707 nkatawg na din po ako ang sabi po i re submit ulit . hindi po ako makapasok/ano po ang gagawin ko. tnx

  32. i had my business already but i want to put another one, pero ibang line of business, ireregister ko ba as branch o hindi? My fiance wants to put a business in ebay gusto nya may trade name talaga, pwede ko ba ilagay sa name nya yung business kahit foreigner sya wala pa siyang resident visa dito sa pinas.

      I think registering online is just an alternative. Kung pupunta ka doon mismo sa DTI ay mas okay kasi maraming complaints na hindi raw sila maka register online. Anyway may nakita ako sa Megamall sa 5th floor na outlet ng DTI for business registration. Try mo dun baka nandoon pa.

    Kapag tinanong nyo sa taga DTI sasabihin lang sa inyo “Sir/Maam try no lang po ng try” walang ibang ibibigay sa inyong alternative or option kasi yun ang turo sa kanila. To the webmaster of DTI please naman paki ayoas ang website ninyo di ko alam kung anong klaseng implimentation ang ginawa nyo sa domain ng DTI.

    Just visit the DTI website and register on their website first. I mean register so that you can sign in not registering a business name. After signing in you will be able to submit your business name. I think it’s better to contact them.

      Just register and you will be able to submit your business name registration online or you can contact them directly by phone or by email ([email protected]). Their is a facility on their website is to search their database for a business name if it is already taken or not.
